Notes:
Ancient 300 Series
This cake belongs to the ‘Ancient 300’ series of a boutique brand known as ‘Qinai’. The leaves are harvested ancient trees of around 300 years old, based on the 1 bud and 2 leaves picking standard.
The cake is made from hand-picked, manually processed loose leaves (maocha), which are then steamed, traditional stone-pressed into cakes of 357g in weight.
Explosive Sweetness
This cake has incredible ageing potential. Nan Po pu erh teas are characterized by explosive sweetness of rock sugar, notes of fresh fruits and flowers, and an excellent hui gan (after taste).
The estate of this tea has an annual production of just 45 KG of which 5 KG (14 cakes) is reserved for us. Known that the previous year’s production increased 70% higher price during the second year, we’re convinced is a great cake to invest in.
