Payment Methods & FAQ

International Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods on our site:

  • PayPal: You can pay safely and conveniently with your PayPal account or with your credit card through PayPal.
  • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other credit cards.
  • Bank Transfer: For orders with an order value of 200 USD or more, a bank transfer payment option will be visible during checkout. For this payment option, you will receive bank transfer instructions by email.

Local Payment Methods

Besides the above international payment methods, we also accept the following local payment methods for payments in EURO only:

  • iDeal (Netherlands only)
  • Bancontact (Belgium only)
  • Giropay (Germany only)
  • EPS (Austria only)
  • Sofort (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands & Spain only)

For the above payment methods to appear, make sure to set currency to EURO, and make sure the billing and shipping address is set to the country in which a specific payment method is available.

Accepted Currencies

Select your currency on the top right area of every page of our store. On a mobile device, please click the menu icon on the top left of the screen, and then go to 'settings' to select your preferred currency.

Packing Options

Tea pouches: All our teas are packed in sealed, standup tea pouches that are designed to protect your tea leaves from light and moisture. A zip lock keeps your tea fresh even after opening. Teasenz tea pouches are environmental friendly and fully recyclable; their lightweight design keeps shipping costs low and helps reduce the carbon footprint.

Wholesale tea orders (500 grams or more) are packed in larger sealed wholesale aluminum bags, possibly without zip locks.

Tea in Tins: Besides tea pouches, there's an option to buy tea in tins.

Products Availability

All products online are in stock unless there's an out of stock notice on the product page. If you can't find a past product in our online store, most likely it's because the product has run out of stock and is not coming back anytime soon. For products that we expect to receive a new batch within weeks time, we usually keep the product visible in our store. However, if it's permanently not coming back or not expected within a reasonable amount of time, they won't be visible. Other

Price in dropdown is different from the price in the shopping cart. Why?

For some products the price you see in the dropdown option is the additional price added to the 70 gram retail price. So for example when a 70g retail pack of tea is 9.95$ and the 200g dropdown option shows +15.64$, this means that the actual price is 9.95 + 15.64 = 25.59$. The discount is already included in this price.
