Wild Purple Yabao Tea, Da Xue Mountain
Our wild Purple Yabao tea from Da Xue Mountain possesses a delightful aroma of cream, pink roses & hints of citrus. Harvested by hand from the sprouts of Camellia Crassicolumna tea trees, these exclusive buds provide a unique flavor experience!
Is Yabao a white tea or a pu erh tea?
Yabao tea is minimally processed with only handpicking & sun-drying - akin to that of a white tea, which it often resembles in taste: soft & smooth with a floral aroma. Contrary to this, others believe Yabao to be a raw pu erh tea as it can be aged like one. That said, Yabao tea stands out from the fact that it's made from the sprouts of a tea tree, not leaves or buds.
Caffeine Free & Antioxidant Rich
For those who're sensitive to caffeine, but don't want to miss out on the health benefits of tea, Yaobao tea is the perfect choice. It doesn't contain caffeine, and is richer in anti-oxidants compared to other tea cultivars.
