Mr. Liang is known as the founder of the Haiwan Tea Factory, but is also the co-founder of the Menghai Tea Factory, where he developed the post-fermentation method for producing ripe pu erh tea.
This Haiwan (Old Comrade) tea cake is made from tea leaves from different regions in Yunnan. It offers the robust thickness of Bulang, the full flavour of Gelanghe, the freshness of Meng Song, and the sweetness of Mengku. The ultimate pu erh blend? If there's such a thing, this may be it.
