European VAT Import Rules Starting July 1, 2021

Since the 1st of July 2021, Shipments to EU countries will be subject to import handling fees and VAT tax. As an importer, you are solely responsible for these paying import fees and taxes. When the parcel arrives in your country, your local post will contact you to pay the import fees. This may happen through the following ways depending on local practice:

  1. Pay through local tracking page.
  2. Pay through postal company App.
  3. Pay when you pickup the parcel from your local post office.

When you decline to pay these fees upon delivery, your parcel will be returned to us, and we can only refund you 70% of your order value (excluding shipping fees). In such a case, a refund is only possible when the goods are physically returned. For an estimate of the local import- and VAT taxes, please contact your local post office.
