This Old Comrade (Lao Tong Zhi) ripe pu erh tea is part of the 'fen dou' ('Fighting Spirit') series. It's made from a blend of Menghai ripe pu erh tea leaves, which are pre-aged for 3-5 years before they're pressed into cakes.
This ripe pu erh is one of the most popular cakes offered by the Haiwan Tea Factory. Its texture is smooth and thick and the aroma is fragrant, sweet, and highly addictive.
