Jian or Jian Zhan teaware refers to a style of pottery making in which clay cups are glazed with a fine and unique layer of ceramic.
This style of pottery making is originated from the Song Dynasty. The pottery master who crafted this fine piece built it based on traditional Song Dynasty specifications.
The shape of this bowl represents a flower and is finished with a blue glaze of ceramic coating. The flower shape of the cup is accentuated with light brown edges, which requires exceptional skill.
