2014 Fuding Gong Mei White Tea Cake - Aged White Tea 350g
A beautifully aged white tea made from gong mei grade leaves of Fuding's Dai Bai cultivar. Sweet and super smooth texture. Highly recommended as your first white tea cake.
Gong mei is type of white tea consisting of tea leaves and fine white buds with a grading between shou mei en bai mu dan. It's hardly available outside of China, but now offered by Teasenz.
As it's already aged for several years, you'll enjoy a soft and mellow sweet flavor without any trace of bitterness. Given that this cake is 350 grams (or more than 12 ounces) in weight, you'll enjoy up to several hundred cups of tea at a bargain price. And the good news is, it's only going to better over time as you let it age further.
